The Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled his 39man provisional squad list as he begins preparations for this month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria will take on Rwanda in Kigali on March 21 and host Zimbabwe in Uyo days later. These two matches are crucial as the Super Eagles aim to rejuvenate their struggling qualification campaign. The Super Eagles are currently fifth in Group C, sitting behind Rwanda, South Africa, Benin Republic, and Lesotho.
The 39-man squad comprises five goalkeepers, ten defenders, ten midfielders, and 14 attackers. However, only 23 of those will make the final squad list ahead of the showdown against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
